John Janda was raised in Tuscon, AZ, and earned a B.A. in Government, M.A. in History, at the University of Arizona. Teaching and additional graduate work in European Intellectual History followed at the University of California, Irvine.
His second career came in social services, particularly employment services, for disadvantaged residents of Orange and Los Angeles Counties, California, A third career is intended as a writer, building on a love of literature and a twenty-five year apprenticeship in Southern California creative writing workshops.
